TX2P1 Boat Maiden Voyage Died

Just received a set of TX2P1 boats. Both ran find on maiden voyage but the blue one started sinking with a sealed hull. We rescued it with the other one and found that the water inlet hose for the motor cooler had come off at the motor and sprayed water directly at the esc.... This is a qulaity control issue and was not part of any recommended checks.... Will the esc dry out and work? Can I get amother? I really don;t want to mess with a full return...
