HM101 does nothing but flash lights

I have a HM101 that I went to use this morning. I charged the battery packs. and put new batteries in transmitter. When I turn everything on. The lights on both the truck and transmitter just blink. The truck has sat for 2 months.

    To ensure high-efficiency troubleshooting, please follow the steps below and help to record an RC car failure video for us to figure out the issues and provide you with a solution. Please try the following steps for troubleshooting:
    1. Check whether the battery power is sufficient and installed correctly or not.
    2. Unplug the wire of the steering gear and then re-pair the remote. When pairing the remote, press and hold the switch on the car body for 3 seconds at first and then switch on the transmitter If the RC car is able to move forward and backward, we assume that the steering gear is malfunctioning.
    3. After unplugging the wire of the steering gear, the RC car is still unable to move forward or backward, then it may be caused by damage to the ESC or poor contact with the transmitter.
    Attention: When recording the video, please keep the camera focused on the ESC and indicator light on the transmitter for us to analyze the failure more accurately.

    Mines doing the same thing! Do I do the same steps if won’t turn on.

    I am having same problem..i turn on remote first red light flashes ..then push and power on buggy lights flash then turn off ...buggy does not work ...only got it work once and that was it ...it should not be this hard to play with..unless theres a problem some place
